He took concepts and data from a variety of fields such as, but not limited to, martial arts (he holds several black belts in various such as judo, kenpo karate, tae kwon do while stationed in Korea with the Army Security Agency, etc), psychology, NLP, physiology, body mechanics and anatomy, plus much, much more. Include virtually everything written by or on Bruce Lee, a doctorate in sports psychology, and former co-trainer for the 1988 US Olympic Tae Kwon Do team and over 60 years experience in martial arts and fighting.
Clocked at an average 16.3 hits per second by Black Belt Magazines’ editor (and future student) Steve Barnes, with a top speed at over 18 hits per second.
5th degree black belt in Kenpo awarded by Grandmaster Ed Parker (who also wrote the preface to his first book “Mental Training of a Warrior”, 8th degree Black Black awarded by Al Tracy, and 10th degree Black Belt awarded by Jim Mitchell.

Having personally trained with him and his son Jack for several years, all I can tell you is I sincerely doubt anyone else on the planet spends as much time and energy studying, teaching, experiencing and upgrading their skill-sets, and possess the knowledge and secrets no one else has.
